Two Witwatersrand Rifles Association Stalwarts recognised

Witwatersrand Regimental Association recognised two of it's members for many years service to the Regiment and the Association at the annual Witwatersrand Rifles Regimental Dinner on Saturday 8 April 2017 at the Regimental Head Quarters, Germiston.

Both were awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Association and Roy Brown was voted the Personality of the Association for the year as well.

The Mess President, Capt PS Ramoshoba, welcomed all the guests which this year included wives for the first time.

Lt Cmdr HM Frieslaar proposed the toast to the Regiment, and the Officer Commanding Lt Col GI Mazibuko replied to this toast. Mr P Williams, Vice Chairman of the Wit Rifles Association, proposed the toast to the guests and WO1 S Rogoff replied.

Everyone present wished Maj Terry O'Haloran, Witwatersrand Rifles Regimental Association Chairman, a speedy recovery, he was missed this year.
